Doff Your Fedora at Wolffy's Place

The Wolff brothers, both native Chicagoans (now San Diego residents), wanted to bring the taste of Chicago to downtown San Diego. So they found a spot at the corner of Ninth and Market, just two blocks north of Petco Park, and converted that location to a veritable oasis of eating and drinking pleasure with a decided Chicago edge. This 1930's Chicago gangster themed eatery is a fun, friendly, reasonably priced, restaurant where there is something for everyone, served by our fedora wearing wait staff (there is no truth to the rumor that any of the fedoras belonged to Capone or Dillinger).

If you have never tasted Wolffy's hickory smoked barbeque ribs or the Chicago style deep dish (or thin crust) Chicago pizzas Wolffy's has cooked up, then you are in for a real treat. If you are a salad lover, then the chicken Caesar, the mixed green or the antipasto will more than satisfy. For the pasta eaters, the spaghetti with gourmet homemade meatballs or the eggplant (or chicken) parmesan are superb. For the sandwich connoisseur, there is nothing better than a Chicago style Italian Beef sandwich, Wolffy's Italian sub, a 1/3 or 1/2 pound juicy burger, or the world famous Chicago style hot dog.

Whether you eat at Wolffy's for lunch, dinner or late night, a visit to Wolffy's would not be complete without trying our fabulously delicious thinly sliced home made potato chips or Wolffy's original (soon to be famous) hot dog tacos for appetizers to complement your beverage. Be part of the fun and wear your fedora to Wolffy's. If you don't have one, we will have Wolffy's fedoras available for purchase so you can be one of the family (if you know what we mean)!!
